How to get rid of the blip between tracks when burning CD's

This Newbie can't seem to get rid of the blip between tracks when burning a CD. I thought I found the answer in one of the Wiki tutorials relating to the timing of frames .
(View>Set Selection Format, and select "CDDA min:secs:frames 75fps, then Edit>Snap to and choose "Snap ON").
However, either this isn't the answer or the sequence does not actually work or activate. (When selected it never seems to place a tick to indicate this command has activated).
What puzzles me is the I can play the tracks sequentially in Audacity and not hear any blips; I only hear them when trying to burn the CD after "Export Multiple".
Can someone please save my sanity?
Any and all help greatly appreciated.
Dennis

A lot of CD writing software (including Nero) will by default create a short gap between tracks - you need to set the gap between tracks to 0. (note that the first track must always have a short gap before it starts, but that doesn't matter since it is the first track).

Also, set your CD writing software to write "Disk At Once" rather than "Track At Once".
