hangs up, repeats
In the middle of recording from a tape player into audacity, hangs up and repeats the same syllable over and over, even after closing audacity and starting a new file, and after deleting audacity from computer and downloading and installing new copy. Can't tell if it's an audacity problem or computer problem or both. It had been working fine for a long time. ( iMac running 10.4.11)

Reinstalling Audacity rarely makes any difference unless you delete the Audacity Preferences which are saved in ~/Library/Preferences/audacity Preferenceswackerman wrote:and after deleting audacity from computer and downloading and installing new copy.
