Hi there

I have Leopard running on my MacBook Pro (a couple of months old).
Which version of audacity will work best on my computer?

I'm not sure how this happened, but 1.2.6 will download and install--and run, but you can't add plugins or the MP3 software to it. I'm sure some programmer stayed up nights to make the package cross compatible, but all it did was create quite a few confused postings on the forum. I even had an actual programmer tell me I must be wrong because you couldn't design software that way.

I told him he could believe what he wanted, but I bet his problems would go away if he used Audacity version 1.2.5. He did and they did.

You can install and use both the Stable and Beta versions of Audacity on the same computer, provided they're installed to different directories.
