FAST FORWARD AND REWIND

HOW CAN I FAST FORWARD THROUGH THE RECORDING THAT I DID? I CANT FIND THAT OPTION. PLEASE HELP.
Audacity and most other sound editors will not scrub -- fast forward and reverse. The best you can do is poke at the blue waves in the timeline with your cursor and use the spacebar to stop and start Play.
Drag-Select and use the magnification (Command-E) to get closer and closer to the desired place in the song.
