Are you referring to the Audacuty Manual? My problem was with importing a stereo into itunes from audacity. I've since bypassed itunes altogether and no longer have an issue.
Thanks anyway.

Re: stereo export
I am new to Audacity. I am trying to get it to work on a Mac and with Parallels on the PC side of my Mac. On the Mac side, I cannot do anything. Get an error message when I try to record. Found out that by default, it was set to stereo. When I set to mono I can record. On the PC side, I can record with stereo set in preferences, but everything is grayed out, cannot export my file to any format. It can't be my mics, because I have used them in other programs to record with stereo. Why is there a stereo setting if you can't save out stereo files?
