No Sound from USB Turntable

have a Fission USB Turntable. Run OS X.4.11. Latest Audacity installed. Running Audacity cannot link Mac/Audacity to play records
Apple > System Preferences > Hardware > Sound > Input
Select the turntable or the USB chipset you don't recognize. Play something. Does the Apple sound meter bounce?
