I LOST MY ACTIVATION CODE!!!

after I downloaded the program, I copied and then I tried to just paste the act. code and it disappeared...and the page that you sent me disappeared also and I can't get anyone to email me another one...I have already sent in a request 2 days ago with no response yet... so i have not been able to do anything with this program that i just paid $39.00 dollars for..would you please help me and send me a new activation code to my email account....

Audacity is a totally free piece of open source software - which can be downladed free from here: http://audacityteam.org/ the only thing you have to be creful of is that if you have pop-ups disabled then the Audacity download can be hidden until you enable it (plus the fact that the pagecontains adverts for paid-for software).

So either you don'y have Audacity - or someone is scamming you.

Strictly speaking, popups are not the problem because the SourceForge pages are not pop-ups. The problem is that the web address displayed to the browser when you click on the download on our pages redirects to a SourceForge page, rather than directly supplying the download. It is that redirect that triggers the Internet Explorer Information Bar to block the download. See:
