Okay I download a video and converted it into a mp3 file. The video has what sounds like an audience and its annoying to hear because I can barely hear the actual beat. So is there anyway I can silence out the audience or pump up the beat so the audience can't be heard and so I can hear the beat...?

If the performance and the audience is in stereo, but the band is pretty much all mono, then you might be able to use some of the "vocal isolation" tools to suck the band out of the mess.

If they're both the same -- the band and the audience are both either mono or stereo, then you're pretty much dead.

You made the process much worse by converting the show to MP3. MP3 contributes its own distortion that makes post production very difficult. This is assuming the original video was perfect. On-line videos tend to save bandwidth and data transmission by converting everything to lower quality mono.

So the short answer is no.
