Help with Auto tune!

Post by Shadowman » Fri May 01, 2009 7:40 pm

Alright, so...

I want to auto tune some songs as a joke for a friend of mine's birthday. Preferably to a T-Pain/Lil' Wayne Sound effect.

However,

I downloaded the VST plugin thing for Audacity. I put it in the plugins folder. I then downloaded the free trial of Antares Auto Tune VST, and put it in the plugins folder. It allows me to select it and use the effect.

One problem though:
key = c
scale = major
retune speed = 0
scale detune = .04 cents, 441.0 hertz
humanize = 0
natural vibrato = 0.0

rate = .1
onset delay = 0
variation = 0
onset rate = 0
pitch amount = 0
amplitude amount =.3
formant amount = 1
These instructions were given to me to input in the effects menu. Fine.

But none of these selections even so much as pop up on Audacity. It doesn't list any of those things, other than scale, which is represented in numbers on this, not letters.

This is what I get:

Can someone please help me?

I only have 8 more days before the trial expires. Please help!

Audacity does not work with AutoTune, Melodyne or GSnap, due to its restricted VST support:

Use a full VST host like WAVOSAUR:
