identifying temp files to convert to mp3

two or three files that werent saved are somewhere in temp files how to access and save as mp3 file

up to now have only saved audacity as a project
loaded lame yesterday need help merging it to audacity so I can save in mp3

******I didn't save my last conversation on audacity. it said do you want to delete temp file and I said no
I need to find temp file ( don't know what to look for) so I can convert it to an mp3

nothing in downloading FAQ's tells me how to find audacity temp files

This is not anything to do with downloading or failed installation - you have installed Audacity successfully. Unless your topic fits in one of the specialised Forums please post to the correct Forum for your operating system and version of Audacity. If you have not found the answer yet please see:
