Hi this is my first post here so be nice :)
I read that you can download freeverb2 to get reverb on audacity (i use the stable one) and i'd like to do this but all the guides on how to do this dont make sense to me.
I've read lots of things about putting a vst plug in on the same level in the audacity folder. But i cant even find an audacity folder on my computer (im not great with computers, i record onto my muiltitrack and open + mix the files on audacity normally) so if someone could give me a really really simple step by step guide to installing/being able to use freeverb2 that would be great.
Thanks

I had the same problem trying to access the Audacity folder. See todays post under" Installations" When you open the" Audacity folder " you need to click on the reverb file you are going to use and holding the click you can drag the file to the Plugins Folder and and drop it in by releasing the click. Some reverb plugins need to have a vst enabler also installed in the plugins folder in order to open this file. You can download this VST enabler from the "Sourceform Site where you probably downloaded Audacity from. Then again drag it and drop it in the Audacity plugins folder. You will have to re-start the computer before the program appears in Audacity under "Effects. You may need to "unzip" before dropping them in the Plugins folder. Like you I am a novice at Computers so forgive me if the above sounds somewhat patronising.
