recording Issue
When I press record audaicty does not record anything. I already went to the control pannel and chedck the microphone, according to Windows my microphone is still working, but nothing registers in auadcity- it's just a flat line...

Can you make a short recording in Windows Sound Recorder?
Windows Sound Recorder
Start -> Programs -> Accessories -> Entertainment
If you have the Windows Sound Controls set wrong, neither one will get sound.
