Audacity Forum

Currently trying to use the program with Windows XP to record from an Aspect Call Center ACD. I have an audio cable into the "Line Out" plug of the Aspect Winset box connected into the Headset and/or Microphone (tried both) on my PC. When I record with Audacity I don't get any audio on the record file.

I have a feeling it is just a configuration problem because I'm new to the Audacity software, not sure if it is windows or not. Any and all help would be appricated.

Try recording a bit with Windows Sound Recorder. If you get nothing with that, then you will know that it is the computer set-up.
