Creating a looping ringtone...

Post by digdug1226 » Tue Oct 09, 2007 5:42 pm

I am able to create what would essentially be a 30 second ringtone, and export it, but I can not figure out how to loop this 30 seconds so that the ringtone basically continues playing instead of stopping at the end of the 30 seconds. Can this even be done? I see that by pressing shift on the playback it will loop, but can this loop be exported?

Thanks
DD

It can't be done if it's an MP3 file. All of the MP3 encoders leave a small amount of empty space at the end of each MP3, this is the gap you're hearing. There's no workaround unless your phone can deal with it (iPods can do this, there's no reason a phone couldn't).
