Audacity Forum

I am using Windows XP and Audacity 1.2.6. My input selector bar is always blank so I cannot make a choice. What should i do?

That's not uncommon - it all depends on whether the sound card drivers are available to Audacity or not. If they are not, then just use the Windows Mixer (some sound cards use a custom interface instead of the Windows Mixer, but in eother case you can usually access the settings through a loudspeaker icon near to the desktop time/date).
