No Audio on playback

I am having difficulty with playback audio. The first recording I did from the Crosley CR-249 USB turntable was just fine I was able to edit it and export to a WAV file with no problem. The sencond one I tried recorded just fine, but when I went to edit it I could not get any audio, I checked all of my settings, and all of the cables, I tried unpluging the USB connection, that didn't work either, so I checked the connections again. The next time I tried playback I got audio and was able to edit and export my file. Now I can not get audio again, I have checked everyting again still no audio. It seems there is no rhryme or reason to the lack of audio on playback. I am using Windows Vista 64 bit version on a HP
Pavilion computer. Do you have any idea what the problem might be? HELP! Ginger

Your link was helpful but did not actually solve the problem. But to do what it suggested I had to change to Admin. account where I discovered I had audio on playback after I updated my Windows, but when I went back to the standard user account, no audio again. So I re-installed the program under the user account, now I have audio on playback. Hey I don't know how it works it just does. Thank You for your help
