Record audio out and audio in from Skype Conference
How can I record both audio out from the speaker and at the same time audio in from the mic using audacity 1.2.6 on windows XP? Any other applications that may be useful? What is the best way to record skype conference?

Re: Record audio out and audio in from Skype Conference
You can record both sides of a Skype conversation by putting the Audacity and Windows SP machine microphone on the table half-way between you and the Skype computer speaker. This sounds awkward, but it's really easy to control the loudness balance between the two sides of the conversation. This is the desperation method.
If you only have one computer, then you either need the VOIP supplier's own software package or the paid version of Pamela.

There are other software packages out there, but it's really easy to get a recording where one side of the conversation is really low compared to the other, and that's very hard to fix in post production.
