Recording Keeps Cutting Out
I am recording using Audacity on Windows. It works fine for a minute or so, and then the recording levels gradually fade and then it cuts out altogether. The only way to restart it is to shout into the mic a few times which seems to wake it up and off you go again. What can I do to stop this happening? I have tried it with a different mic but the same thing happened.

Sounds like you have got AGC (Automatic Gain Control) switched on somewhere in your mic setup - find where it is and turn it off.
