When I select "Stereo Mix" in Preferences I can record music from a CD.
Then I can select "Microphone" and make a second recording of my voice.
So . . . . . how do I combine these two recordings into a single "Voiceover music" recording?
Or, alternatively:
What I'm trying to do is record chapters of my novel so I can upload them to PodioBooks.com.
I've listened to many of their books and found that an introduction with music which slowly fades as a narrator begins talking is a real nice touch.
Could anyone suggest a simple and effective way to do this?
Thank you in advance

Re: Voiceover
It is both quicker, and higher quality to "rip" the audio from the CD rather than record it. There is a good, free CD ripper called "C-Dex". You should rip the CD in WAV format, then you can import the ripped tracks (or just drag and drop them onto Audacity).grasshopper wrote:When I select "Stereo Mix" in Preferences I can record music from a CD.
