How do I export and mixdown only some of the tracks.
In my project, I have created more tracks than I want to burn to and audio CD. How do I select only those tracks that I want to use, then Export them as WAV and burn to an audio CD?

First, select the tracks you want. On my Mac, I do this by clicking in the track info area for the first track (where it gives the sample format of the track), and then shift-clicking in the same area for other tracks. I think it would be the same in Windows. If the tracks you want are different lengths, click on the longest one first. You'll know you've got it when the tracks you want are a darker gray. Then click "Export Selection As WAV" in the File menu. --Allen

allen's recipe will work if you want to produce a single WAV file without any track breaks.
But iff you do want to create separate tracks on the CD then what you should do is select each track you don't want - select by clicking and dragging with the cursor and the Delete the track.
Then label the remaining tracks, Using the CTRL+B shortcut at the start of each trck (and don't forget to label the first track)
Then use Export Multiple as WAV to create a set of WAV files one per track.

Re: How do I export and mixdown only some of the tracks.
You both have been very helpful. Now another question about the same topic.
I have created 10 projects each of which will be a song that I will burn to an audio CD. Correct me if I am wrong but I see the process this way.
After I have created each song, I will export it as WAV and mixdown to a temporary folder on the computer.
After each of the songs has been exported to the temporary folder, I will use my Roxio program to burn all the songs to an audio CD creating a music album.
Does this sound like a good plan?

Well, "mixdown" is part of what Audacity will do while it's exporting to WAV. And I haven't used Roxio. Other than that, I'd say yes, your plan sounds good. I'd recommend spot-checking those WAV files after you export them to make sure you're getting what you expected. --Allen

Yes and yes, I do use Roxio to burn my CDs - it works well. Ensure that you export the WAVs as 44.1kHz 16-bit stereo (the Red Book standard for CDs)
And do make sure that you burn a Music CD and not a Data CD - and do use good quality CD-Rs and not CD-RWs
