Assuming ou have CD or DVD burning equipment in your machine, then you need a Music CD Burning Program. I use Roxio Easy CD Creator which I'm sure is a much bigger and more complicated program by now, but that's the idea.
Launch the program and it will ask you what kind of CD you want (Music) and where the music files are that you would like included and in what order. Press the burn button and put a blank CD in the machine.
I favor Sony CD-R disks. You can use cheap trash after you get going, but until you get the first one, I would use unquestionably stable, high-quality media.
There also appears to be a Burn tab in Windows Media 11 that allows you to compile and burn music CDs. Follow the Help instructions. The down side of doing it in WM11 is the possibility that Windows is keeping track of your music counts and may not let you burn more than a certain number of CDs or something awkward like that.
