Selection and Labels

Is there a way to select the area between two labels? I used the beat finder to make a label track, and I want to select the part between two labels on one of my audio tracks. Or is there a way to make the cursor snap to labels?

Also, when you have multiple tracks selected, is there a way to deselect some of them?

Not as far as I know in 1.2 - but in v1.3.x the labels have become "sticky" and hovering near them will cause the cursor to align with them.
