identify voice and eliminate

hi,

i have many old radio recordings recorded via the internet, that i would like to transfer to cd, they all include dj chat, news and ads, is there an easy way of playing a section of this unwanted chat, news and ads, and it being identified as not being music, and then being able to delete these sections, thank you

I don't know of any software other than from Law Enforcement that can identify a particular person in the middle of a sound production by their voice. And nobody can suck them out of a production without leaving a hole even if you do know who they are.

Noise Reduction only works on sounds that do not change in the course of a show. We can get rid of that low, background air conditioning sound pretty well. We can not get rid of a MetroBus that starts up and drives away in the middle of a show, and we can't take just the tenors out of a choral.
