Playback is stalling

Greetings,

I am currently testing audacity 1.2.6 on windows 2003 server with Citrix presentation server 4.5 installed.
At the moment, I can record my voice talking into the microphone. When I attempt to play back, it plays for 1-3 seconds and then it stops. It doesn't finish scrolling across, it just stops and stays there. Sometimes if you hit stop, you can move the line and hit play again and get some more sound.

I tired both the microsoft audio mapper and the Citrix audio driver. Both produce the same result. Any help is appreciated.
