I have connected my VCR to PC and the sound comes in a little crackly. As a test I tried to record it and when I play it back the sound is so faint that is barely audible. When I am recording it is the right volume.
Any ideas of how to fix this problem?
Thanks.

Re: Sound from VCR to PC not quite right
I'm a bit confused... you mean when you're recording to your PC, it's playing back through your PC speakers at the correct volume, and then when you play it back later it's at a different volume? Anyway, do you know about the two sliders at the upper right hand of the screen? The right one is input level; you should set this so that when the blue waveforms for your track are at their widest, they reach the 0.5 mark or a bit more. The left one is output volume, which of course can be adjusted as well. --Allen
