Audacity Forum

I went onto the free download site and followed instructions. The only item shown was AVSediting software under http://www.AVS4you.com. I duly clicked but when I loaded it, it asked for payment!! I tried several times but same results. What am I doing wrong please? I have windows XP

The AVS is an advertisement - You have your pop-up blocker turned on, so the Audacity download doesn't show - you can click in the information bar which will give you the option to implement the blocked download.

This has caught a lot of us out - myself included .....
