Unplugged Microphone, No Options Available
While recording a podcast, my microphone accidentally came unplugged. After plugging it back in, I was no longer able to continue recording. Upon closer inspection, virtually all of Audacity's options were disabled. I can't save the project and have no backups (I realize this is entirely my fault, but I digress). Is there any way for me to get the program in working order so that I can save what I have and possibly continue recording?

Left out a word. My "USB" microphone came unplugged?
If that's the case, then you have the same chances of recovery as someone whose Audacity crashed in the middle of a recording, because that's, in effect, what it did.
Audacity 1.3 has very good disaster recovery tools. Not so much 1.2.
