Audacity Forum

I have just started recording my LP's and I find that after saving and converting the files to Wav format I can playback the CD on my computer, on my car CD player but not on my Bose System in my house. Has anyone else experienced this problem and does anyone know what I am doing wrong. I am using Windows XP, Audacity Version 1.6. Thank You

You need to burn the CDs as standard audio CDs.
Some CD players will play data CDs, or MP3 CDs, but many will not.
A lot of people that use Windows Media Player for burning CDs have this problem. I would recommend using a dedicated CD burning program such as Nero, Nero Express, Nero Essentials, Easy CD.....
