Importing files

Hi All,

Complete noob user here so apologies if this is a really stupid question...

I recorded the rehearsal of a play i'm directing via audacity on my laptop. Saved and transfered to PC as the laptop has no burner and i want to export the project as an mp3 and burn. However when i try to load the files to audacity on that (the project is split up into about 150 12sec segments) it crashes. If i try to load them one at a time i just get each 12sec segment playing on top of each other rather than in a linear fashion. Some advice as to how to get this back into audacity as a complete 30min recording would be great.

Many thanks

steve

You have missed a step out. You should have "Exported" the recording as a WAV file from the original project (on the recording computer). Transfer the WAV file to the other PC and burn it to CD. There is a tutorial all about this. See the "Tutorials" link at top of this page.
