Hello,

I have been messing with tape->digital conversion, but in Edit->Preferences, I dont see anywhere to upgrade the kbps from 128 to something like 192kbps.

Am I missing something? Where is that option?

They are there in Preferences somewhere. In Audacity 1.3 they are "options" in the Export dialogue (which is much more convenient).
