Can 1.2.6 projects open in 1.3.7?

I have over 20 projects with 1.2.6 and was wondering if these can be opened in the newer versions if I download 1.3.7? Or am I stuck using the older for these projects and have to record every last track over in the new one? Please tell me I don't have to. I am just wanting to utilize some of the new features on my older stuff to see what I can come up with. Thanks for your input.

1.2.6 projects can be opened in 1.3.x no matter what version. However, once you save them in 1.3.x format, you can't open them again with 1.2.6. I'd recommend making backup copies to another directory, just in case.....
