I use 1.2 and edit sound sequences up to an hour with various music & voice ove tracks. The envelope tool seems to have a mind of it's own sometimes. Particularly when moving the cursor to select another tool. That aside is there a way of removing adjustment points so that the present adjustments remain but the points disappear without resorting to edit & remove last command. Hope I've explained this fully.

Select the control point and drag it off the timeline. It may help to magnify the area containing the bad control point.
