Won't Activate

I am running Windows XP PRo - downloaded Audacity. Recorded/Saved As/Playback continues to have some throw in about "demo" and at the top left hand corner it states "this is not activated". How do I fix this?

Download Audacity from the links on Audacity web site.
Audacity is open source and free. http://audacityteam.org/
