Audacity 1.2.x is now obsolete. Please use the current Audacity 2.1.x version.

The final version of Audacity for Windows 98/ME is the legacy 2.0.0 version.

Hi
I just downloaded audacity 1.3.6 beta. I have a rhodes mk-60 connected (jack to mini-jack).
My problem is there is a 1 second latency. I adjusted the audio I/O settings in preferences but didn't make a difference.

My laptop specs are:
HP Pavilion dv6000
1.66GHz Intel Core Duo
2GB RAM
Soundcard : Conexant High Definition Audio
Windows XP media center edition
version 2002 SP2

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks

Go into the Audio I/O section of Preferences and check that "software playthrough" is NOT selected.
