Fading out MP3 and loss of quality...

Post by davidpmontes » Mon Jan 26, 2009 9:03 am

I want to use Audacity to fade into songs or fade out at the end of songs in MP3 format. That's all I do to mess with the song, fade in and fade out. My question is will I lose quality when I Export As MP3? I look through Preferences and I see a lot of options regarding Sample Rates, converters, OGG, Bit rate, ect. I'd rather not have to understand all that. All I want is to modify my MP3's by fading them, and maintain the quality of the MP3 when I export. If you can tell me what preferences to change and what not, that'd be great.
