Hi

I've download Audacity a couple of days ago, been playing around with it and I quite enjoy it. Today I've been trying to record some old vinyl 12" records. The recording is fine, but when I try to save the file I get a message saying something like this

"non-activated version so voice logo will be added to output files?" :(

I using Version 1.2.6 and Vista OS. What do I need to do to clear this message, do I need to buy/donate in order to get a serial number to activate this part of the program :?:

Audacity is free and has no license restrictions or key codes. Did you get Audacity from here...

Take care to either allow the automatic download or to use the actual Audacity download link and not one of the advertisements (unless you are interested in one of the advertised products of course).

As said previously - Audacity does NOT require registering or "activation.
If your program does require this, then it is not the genuine "Audacity".

Many Vista users recommend Audacity 1.3
I would recommend it for all platforms.
