Audacity crashes every time as I try to start it in Vista

Audacity crashes every time as I try to start it in Vista

Hello

For many months, Audacity worked just fine. Suddenly, without any reasonable reason, the application stopped to work. It crashes every time as I try to start the application in Vista.

I've tried:

- to reinstall it several times
- to change the installer's destination folder
- to run the application in Windows' compability modes (XP SP2 mode and so on)
- to run it with Vista's administrative priviledges

This is very frustrating and nothing I know seems to work. Please help me. :)
