What would cause static-like noise after about 30 seconds of recording? When I am not playing or singing, it stops so I can't sample it and use the noise removal tool. It only occurs while I'm playing or singing and is fairly consistent throughout the rest of the recording. I know I will have to upgrade the equipment I have eventually, but in the mean time, what could be causing this very annoying noise? Thanks.

Re: static? noise after 30 seconds of recording
I am having the same problem. I will record a song and some time during the recording the noise is completely drowned out by loud static. I work to ensure no dust on the album or needle. I will retry and again static but at different time of the recording process...help!
