Well, I suspected the sweeps would have to be retaken. But I can do that easy enough. Just have to wait for some quiet time in this house (maybe I'll send everyone else to the movies). Steve, my thanks to you and Koz for the insight and help. I'm just sorry (again, for principle's sake) that I could not revert back to my original waveforms.

You don't have to stop the recording. I believe you can pause or suspend the recording while you change connections. That will give you one straight-line recording with everything on it. Also very simple.
