I use Audacity to record our local governmental meetings. I cant sit in the meetings any longer so I need to use remote desktop from my office and monior the recordings from there, however, everytime I try to open Audacity using remote desktop it fails with a windows error. Can I use this program using remote desktop?
Also, at times I find that a recording is not there, I save them to a folder, sometimes the .au files are there but not the track that I names. how can I recover those?

Re: Remote Desktop
What error do you get using remote desktop? I've used Audacity remotely like that before (different Remote Desktop than you're using probably) and it worked just fine.

Re: Remote Desktop
I get the message that windows have encountered an error and needs to shut down. I am using the windows remote desktop across my normal intranet connection. What I also need to do is come into my network via VPN, connect to the desktop of the recording machine and record meetings from home. I can run the tax and other software ok remotely, but not the audacity software.
