Hello, this is my first post to the forum. Apologies if what follows is a dumb question.
It relates to multi track recording. I have selected the option 'Play other tracks when recording a new one', but have found that the second track both records my new input AND the contents of the first track. (NB: I have plugged my amp directly into the back of the computer. No mics are involved) How can I isolate the contents of the tracks?
Many thanks in advance
Dave

Always look at the FAQs and our user-editable Wiki, which has stacks of tips and advice.
This FAQ answers your question. In other words, select the input source you are recording from (presumably line-in, unless this amplifier is explicitly designed for microphone ports), not the source for recording computer playback.
