I just purchased the IT Model: ITUT-201 for a Christmas present for myself. I have a DELL laptop.

I have been able to download everything including the lame_enc.dll. I am now getting an error message when I click on RECORD button.

Error message : Error when opening sound device. Please check the input device settings and the project sample rate.

I would appreciate any assistance you can give me.... Please keep it simple as I am still learning jargon. Thank you.

There have already been several postings with difficulties with this particular TT - try the Search utility at the top right of the forum page and use "ITUT 201" as your search criterion.

The first thing top try is to reboot your computer with the turntable connected. Allow your computer to fully boot and stabilise before you open Audacity.
