which format?

Which exporting format should I choose to record my music on a CD to play in home stereos and car stereos? I am not familiar with OGG file format and naive as I am I thought MP3 was only to replay on an MP3 player. Sorry for the silly questions, but THANK YOU for the help.

You should export as 44.1kHz 16-bit PCM Sterreo WAV (Red Book standard for CDs). Always use good qualit CD-Rs and not CD-RWs. And ensure that you use your CD burner to bur a music CD and not a data CD.

For more detail see this article in the Audacity Wiki: http://audacityteam.org/wiki/index.php? ... uter_or_CD
and this one: http://audacityteam.org/wiki/index.php? ... o_burn_CDs
