Not all features will install

I cannot get any of the Features, Analyze, and a few Generate menu items to highlight and work. Do I need to pay for these features?

No payment required (Donations accepted), it is open source and it is free. What version of Audacity do you have, and where did you get it from? You should be using Audacity 1.2.6 or version 1.3.6, downloaded from the links on the main Audacity site: http://audacityteam.org/download/
