I want to record acoustic guitar, piano and voice into audacity but my computer does not have a mike already. I need to buy a mike but I don't know what to buy. Also do I need to buy a mixer? What is a mixer? Can I not just record parts onto audacity and mix them there?

Hi I've just ordered the Samson C03U mike which is a usb connection straight into your computer. It has 3 settings so is suitable for close up & full room use. Audacity has it's own mixer to play separately recorded tracks together.
