Need help finding this sort of effect!

Alright, so I am creating a little parody of the Bud Light Real Men of Genius commercials.

If you have no clue what those are, click here.

Anyway.... I need to find an effect for Audacity that could help me accomplish the echo/sound of the singer's voice.
I tried just a normal echo, but it made me sound more of a robot than in a studio room. Could someone please help me with this?

Thanks!

Search the forum for freeverb and gverb. I think those are the ones people go to when they find that the production tools in 1.2 are a little...old.

You could also install Audacity 1.3. Much better tools for stuff like this, and you can have both on your machine as long as you don't run both at once. My 1.3.5 has gverb as an effect and I don't remember if I downloaded it or it came with Audacity.

You understand it's not going to correct your singing or simulate you singing into a Neumann microphone with a Sennheiser blast filter in a quiet studio?

Oh, I am aware bout that. I just wanted to achieve the type of effect his singing was. Thanks a bunch!

I'll also install the new Audacity.
