Toneport UX2 mic inputs are not working

I'm running this into Audacity. The instrument inputs work just fine. It picks up nothing from the mic input. Any thoughts?

I think the problem might be the levels of the mic are too low? How would i fix this?

I thought that too and it didn't seem to work. But then i found was a fault on me not having everything set up right. Now it all works.
