If you can't get LAME to work as an Audacity plugin - then you might want to try finding a standalone MP3 converter (a bit of Googling should find you a free one on t'interweb. Even iTunes can do this for you, but it's a bit fiddly).

Then just export WAVs from Audacity and run them through the standalone converter.

My phone is a Motorola W385, I looked in the manual and did not see a thing about what speed or what size it need to be is the a way to find out , How I can convert it to my phone? I also wanted to thank you and waxcylinder fpr your help ! :D

Oh dear, that is just so helpful (not).
You could try searching Google but I expect you will mostly find other people with the same problem. I suspect that they would prefer that you bought ringtones rather than make your own.

Are you able to get any existing ringtones off your phone onto your computer and see what format they are?[/quote] The only thing that the ring tone on my PC shows are the properties, no format, I'll check it out on Audacity! :?: thanks I checked it out and down load a ring tone to my phone and it dose not show any runtime like the ringtones on my phone dose !
