dj mix recording

Post by evra » Thu Dec 11, 2008 3:55 am

Hello! I want to record a dj set (with cd players). If the beats goes off a little in the middle of the mix for example, can audacity correct them to be in sync or I have to record again from the begining?! Thank You

If you mean that you have recorded 2 CD's and when they are playing at the same time they are out of sync with each other, then you will only be able to correct it if you have recorded one CD onto one track, and the other CD onto a different track. If both CD's are recorded (mixed) onto the same track, you will not be able to "un-mix" them.

A good place to look for tutorials is the Audacity Wiki - see: http://audacityteam.org/wiki/index.php?title=Tutorials
