Playback through headphones/ recording problem.

Hi there, I've just being recording some extra tracks for a song, listening to what I've already recorded through headphones plugged into my mixer, and recording my guitar over the top. This was working fine, did some production work etc. Then tried playing back again through the headphones and can't get any sound. Am also unable to record anything else. Any ideas? Have tried the playback and recording settings in the preferences section with no luck. Seems it doesn't want to put anything through the USB set up. Cheers.
